Are you not in constant need of a laser cleaning machine, or do you first want to figure out if laser cleaning is the right solution for you? Then our cleaning service is perfect for you. We come to your place and perform the cleaning on-site at a fixed hourly rate.
We have some service trucks on the road in Belgium and the Netherlands, fully equipped. These have a laser cleaning installation and mobile extraction. The cleaning can be done inside the truck or we can take the laser cleaning machine out of the truck and take it to the workpieces. Our mobile extraction installation makes sure that possible dust particles and vapors are extracted and filtered.
With laser cleaning, a (short pulsed) laser beam goes through the pollution, but gets reflected on the mold. This reflection causes no heating or wear on the mold. The reflected beams evaporate a part of the pollution. Everything that doesn’t evaporate, comes off the mold eventually and stays there as loose residue. This can easily be vacuumed with a vacuum cleaner.
Make sure the pieces are ready (or make them accessible if they are permanently mounted) in a place where we can reach with the mobile machine. We need an aisle width of 70 cm. We always have the shielding material with us so that people can’t look directly into the laser beam, but it makes it easier if we don’t have to work in an area where there are a lot of people. For a power supply, we need a 32A socket. If this isn’t available, we will use the 32A power supply that is built-in in our truck, but then we will have to provide the necessary extension cables to reach your parts. If you want us to clean the parts inside our truck, we ask you to bring the parts to our truck or to prepare the necessary transport so that we can easily do this.
Do you rather want us to collect the pieces and clean them here at our place? No problem! The pieces are collected by us and cleaned in our warehouse. Within a few days, the pieces will be back at your place, as new. If there is another treatment necessary after the cleaning, like a coating or paint layer, we can also take care of that for you, or we bring the pieces to a third party who does the further treatment.
It’s impossible to determine the speed before doing the job, because it’s strongly determined by the type of pollution, the thickness of the contaminated layer and the shape of the workpiece. However, to sort of get an image of the cleaning speed, you can count on an order of magnitude of a jet width of around 10 cm that can clean with a speed of 1 meter per minute.
It’s also possible to rent a laser cleaning machine. For a cleaning task of only a couple of hours, this isn’t really necessary, but for bigger tasks, this can be a better option. We drop the machine off at your place, give you a short training and provide the necessary personal protective equipment. When the job is done, we will collect the machine. The rental price for a 1000W device is 950€ per day (excl. VAT) with a minimum rental period of 5 business days. Give us a call if you’d like to know more about this!
